Privacy Policy

Who we are

LumaLore (“LumaLore,” “we,” “us”) makes a co-op game for couples. This policy explains what we collect on this website and in the app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Waitlist details. The email address you submit, plus optional preferences you choose to share (platform interest, relationship stage, and any note you leave). These help us plan the beta and shape the product.
• Account information. If you create an account in the app, a sign-in identifier (for example, via Sign in with Apple) and your pairing with your partner.
• Content you create. The answers, quests, memories, and lore the two of you save. This is yours; we treat it as private.
• Device & usage data. Limited technical and product-interaction data (such as app version and which features are used) that never includes the private content you create. In-app analytics are opt-in and off by default.
• Diagnostics. Crash and performance data to keep the app stable, with personal identifiers scrubbed before they reach us.
• Subscription status. Whether LumaLore Pro is active. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see your card or bank details.

How we use information

• To operate the waitlist and let you know when the beta opens.
• To provide, maintain, and improve the app and this website.
• To keep the experience safe and to prevent abuse.
• To communicate with you about the product, only as you’ve agreed.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal information.
• We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites: no advertising identifier (IDFA), no tracking prompt, and no sharing with data brokers.
• We don’t run a public feed, followers, or leaderboards. There is no audience but each other.
• We don’t mine, display, or share the private lore you create.
• We don’t put your private content into analytics.

AI & personalization

Any AI personalization in the app is opt-inand off by default. It runs through our secure server-side gateway with consent gating, and we don’t use your private content to train third-party models.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run LumaLore: hosting and database, authentication, error monitoring, privacy-safe analytics, and subscription billing. They process data only to provide their service to us, under appropriate safeguards.

Your choices & rights

• You can unsubscribe from waitlist or product emails at any time.
• In the app, Settings → Privacy lets you export a downloadable copy of your data and delete your account. Deletion runs on a 30-day window you can cancel any time within those 30 days.
• You can decline or withdraw consent for optional features like AI personalization.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate, documented purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Account deletion requests are honored on a defined timeline communicated in the app.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but privacy and safety are foundational to how LumaLore is built.

Children

LumaLore is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
